Quinoa Spread

2 c. chickpeas, sprouted
2 1/2 c. filtered water
1/4 c. tahini - - abt.1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/4 c. sliced burdock (optional)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 t. Celtic sea salt (optional)
1 c. tomatoes
1 T. Braggs amino acids or your favorite raw soy sauce
2/3 c. mint, chopped
1/3 c. cucumber, diced
1 T. garlic
1 t. ginger, minced
1 t. jalapeno, minced
1/2 c. olive oil
1 c. sprouted quinoa

  • Blend chickpeas and water (in blender.)
  • Rinse chickpea mixture through fine sieve over sink.
  • Process sesame seeds (in food processor) to make fresh tahini paste.
  • Combine and blend chickpeas, sesame seeds, burdock, lemon juice, Braggs, garlic, jalapeno, ginger, and salt.
  • Fold in tomatoes, mint, cucumber, parsley, and quinoa.  Freeze or serve.
